A client of mine in Austin, Texas is looking for a Spark Engineer with the following: This is 6+months contract with All Inc rate.

Perfect Candidate > Strong Scala Background, Implementation of Scale on a production/development side, 1 – 2 yrs preferred, building productions in production Scala system (No one on the team knows Scala and would like someone to be knowledgeable, willing to overlook some web development experience)
– Some familiarity with Cascading
– Deep knowledge of Spark
– Solid Object Orientated Web Development
8 years’ experience (would consider 6)
