Title: QA Tester (Middleware)
Location: San Antonio, TX- 78218
Duration: 6 months (Potential to extend/hire)
Responsibilities:
Designing, developing and maintaining test cases and strategies to meet release deliverables, project testing requirements and other quality assurance considerations.
Reviewing test cases developed and the test execution results.
Validate operational, analytical reports, and ETL processes
Ensures defects are logged correctly and tracked through to closure using the appropriate defect tracking tool.
Ensuring compliance required processes, testing standards and guidelines.
Coordinates end-to-end testing efforts with internal and external interfaces, particularly in more complex end-to-end testing situations.
Prepares the data within the environment necessary to test application functionality for larger and more complex systems.
Executes test scripts and documents results.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in software testing
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Extensive system and integration testing expertise and advanced analytical skills.
Experience with Oracle BRM, Fusion Middleware, EBS, etc.
Good understanding of relational database design
Experience with report development and writing queries.
Strong data analysis skills.
Extensive knowledge of the entire software implementation lifecycle
Experience in web based UI testing
Preferences:
Experience in Linux or Unix operating systems
Experience writing automated tests in Python
Experience writing object oriented software in Python
