Position:Technical PM - Oracle Financials
Location: Owings Mills, MD
Duration: 10+ Months

Responsibilities:
* The main responsibility of the Deployment Manager is to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of software developed within a program for deployment into the production environment.
* Ensure that the organization''s release controls are documented and well understood by development Teams and Program Support Teams.
* Ensure that a detailed deployment plan has been documented along with a backout plan should anything go wrong during deployment
* Drive creation of a tactical plan to implement technology; partnering with key stakeholders for validation.
* Manages cross-functional teams responsible for delivering project outputs within a domain or corporate initiative, often crossing organizational boundaries with an enterprise wide reach.
* Produce detailed technical design, test plans, and implementation plans.
* Determines technical feasibility of implementing new system projects or modifications to existing systems.
* Identify key risks to success and help to mitigate those risks or related issues
* Lead requirements meetings and provide leadership and direction around compiling reporting requirements for Oracle EBS and PeopleSoft applications.

Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
* 5+ years of IT and business experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms.
* Experience managing Oracle EBS and/or PeopleSoft projects
* Experience working with business users to build business and functional requirements Oracle EBS experience (over PeopleSoft) knowledge and experience
* Excellent understanding of product release methodologies (including familiarity with ITIL''s Release and Deployment Management process
* Project Management skills (over a developer or architect)
* Deep understanding of the technologies supporting the Oracle EBS and/or PeopleSoft application, specifically Relational Database (RDB) concepts and technologies and have a practical understanding of Accounting operations.
* Knowledge around the Financial Accounting Hub module in Oracle EBS, is a huge plus.
* Strong system integration experience.
* Strong experience planning the development and delivery of complex software products.
* Good understanding of product architecture and infrastructure components.
* Experience leading several successful implementations.
* PMP certification is a plus.
* Firm understanding of the functional architecture and processing within Oracle EBS
* Experience working with business users to build business and functional requirements Oracle EBS experience (over PeopleSoft) knowledge and experience

*Business Justification:
Resource needed for a large project involving the installation of a Business Intelligence Tool on top of Oracle EBS and PeopleSoft applications.
