Job Description:
MUST HAVE :: MATLAB,SIMULINK.
Unique Skills: - Aircraft systems HWIL and integration into a real time simulation environment - Real Time simulation principles - Simulation model/platform updates and improvements - Lab issue troubleshooting hardware and software; evaluation, and resolution - Helping with lab customer needs/requirements - Assisting with the research and development in the areas of simulation and software - Reading electrical and simulation drawings - Integrating various I/O types (analog, discrete, digital, data bus, etc) into the simulation platform - Understanding standard aircraft industry I/O protocols (ARINC 429, 664, 485, 717, etc) 7. Candidate shall not be a foreign national and must be legally qualified to work on an ITAR project.
Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in engineering, a related curriculum, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. See Other Requirements in Job Description. 18 months related engineering experience with Bachelors degree. Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 2 years for Masters Degree and 4 years for PhD in fields applicable to this job position.
Position Purpose: Performs engineering work related to the investigation and the solution of technical problems associated with research, design, development, service and manufacture of Gulfstream aircraft.
