Mandatory Skills:
5 to 7 years of development experience in Android platforms
Solid understanding of Core Java framework and Android SDK
Must have good knowledge and exposure to below skills - Android Application Development, Android User Interface Fundamentals (Activity, Fragments, Dynamic/Static Views/Layout), Android RPC Framework (Intent, Broadcast Receiver), Android Storage Fundamentals (SQLite, Content Providers), Design Patterns, Data Structure and Operating System Fundamentals, AIDL and Service Framework
Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Good understanding of XML and JSON
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, design patterns, coding standards and unit testing
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Desired Skillset:
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with continuous integration
Experience working in an agile environment
Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
