Job Description:
Client is looking for candidates who are self-driven and thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that operates on collaboration and partnership with all business stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate previous experience and success in large, enterprise-wide projects with an emphasis on integration – not “build” - of systems that will deliver an integration of data systems / applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages and drives multiple projects involving data integration and data management, manage deliverables to meet aggressive time lines while maintain high quality, cost efficiencies, and defined scope
Analyze and manage all phases, dependencies, risks, and strategy to meet project and account objectives from concept to post implementation support

Analyze and manage project performance including all phases of development, dependencies, risks, and strategy to meet project and account objectives from concept to post implementation support
Delivers work effort and project artifacts that demonstrate a commitment to transparency and traceability
Define, analyze, and interpret all project metrics, track project issues and risks and drive issue resolution to closure
Assess impact to cross-functional teams internal to as well as external to IT Department team
Facilitate project reviews and working sessions; document and communicate status, decisions, actions, and issues internally to Senior Account Team to align for customer communications and project stakeholders
Direct the activities of project team members, hold responsibility for ensuring appropriate resources are allocated and maintained to facilitate the successful completion of the project
Continuously ensure appropriate forecasting/reporting tools are reviewed and updated to support ongoing projects and ensure project transparency for oversight parties
Ensures the ongoing process/system capability associated with projects and manages any changes required to meet or exceed the expectations established in project designs
Works with business owners/clients to coordinate training plans for newly released functionality
Works with system users to capture system deficiencies and work with product owner to manage change control
Provides guidance to subordinates within the established company policies
Works hand-in-hand with Sr. Management and Stakeholders to ensure project(s) is producing the business value as desired
Identify/recommend process improvements when gaps are uncovered

QUALIFICATIONS:

7+years’ experience in project management roles
PMP, Six Sigma, Agile certification strongly preferred
Expert in project and program management techniques, understands multiple software development methodologies, and uses current tools and techniques to monitor and measure project and program performance
Demonstrated experience managing enterprise software development projects across the entire software development lifecycle
Effective leader, skilled facilitator; influential with upper management and with project team leadership
Ability to use technical knowledge and analytical skills to identify solutions and workarounds to impediments
Aligns tactical project and program objectives with overall Agency strategic goals
Listens, asks appropriate questions, and respects the viewpoints of others, ability to respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needs
Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members; builds morale and team productivity by recognizing and praising the efforts and achievements of the team
Works effectively across team boundaries; develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
Holds oneself to high ethical standards, inspires others to do the same
Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues
Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of employees ranging from entry level to senior leadership
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
BS Degree CS or MIS or equivalent
Experience in the education industry preferred
