Job Description:
ETL-DW/BI Sr Tester:
· 4 to 6 + years’ experience in ETL-Data warehouse Testing
· 4+ Years’ experience in BI Testing
· Strong Knowledge on Data ware house and BI process/concepts.
· Experience in writing SQL (medium to complex) statements to test ETL code based on the data mapping & requirements provided and perform extensive data analysis to identify the defects.
· Strong in ETL data validation using platforms like Informatica/Abinitio/Data stage/SSIS ETL environments.
· Strong in BI report validation using one of the platforms like Cognos/Business Objects/Micro Strategy/SSRS/Qlikview/Spotfire BI environments
· Experience in working with large scale Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Integration projects.
· Experience in testing data warehouses systems and have defined test approaches for data warehouse projects.
· Experience in working on Banking or Capital Markets Domain – Preferred.
· Experience coordinating testing activities and optimizing test cycles working with project team at both onsite and offshore.
· Experience with conducting and running defect triage meeting with project teams.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Experience working on Scrum- Agile based methodol
