eDataForce Consulting LLC is seeking for a senior need for BI/DW/ ETL/Informatica and DB (Teradata) software engineer

*Candidate must be LOCAL OR Nearby Denver, CO - start the project ASAP. *

1. Scope

ETL & BI Operations Analyst will work with the BI team to support BI operations, which encompasses monitoring of Informatica ETL data loads and Informatica Pushdown methods, maintain the 3 different Environments to support development – Production, QA and DEV for ETL/Informatica and DB (Teradata




2. Service Provider Responsibilities

· To work onsite at the clients Denver facility to perform Informatica ETL development and Informatica ETL Operations monitoring as outlined in the Service Provider deliverables.

· Provide weekly report to include a timecard of hours worked, tasks completed on the Project, open issues and plans for the following week.





3. Clients Responsibilities

· Project management activities to assign the ETL & BI Operations Analyst tasks.

· Provide Client network access for the ETL & BI Operations Analyst.

· Provide access and availability to configuration room and test environment.

· Provide personal computer and licensed software for use on the Project.




4. Consultant Deliverables

· Monitoring data loads (Informatica ETL batch jobs) to Client Teradata EDW.

· Troubleshooting failed jobs.

· Responsible for making ETL design and code changes as a part of post-production support activities.

· Responsible for additions to ETL design and code development as a part of post-production support activities.

· Responsible for data model additions and overall data integration to ETL design as a part of post-production support activities.

· Responsible to create the house keeping jobs to maintain the Data Quality of the Data Warehouse system.

· Normalizing data loads in Teradata staging, and transferring them to EDW tier, and finally exposing T1/T2 data to Cognos.

· Responsible for production operations of the BI/DW/ETL globally.

· As requested, work with Clients for Knowledge Transfer (KT) or to create a support methodology.

· Coordinate support and project tasks with Client off-shore teams as needed.

· Provide 24x7 on-call support in the event global resources are not able to resolve issues and require more senior level support.

· Responsible for handling the Informatica, Cognos and DB (Teradata) Admin tasks including – Application/DB Upgrades, managing security, ETL/Cognos scheduling, ETL code validation and migrations.
