Responsibilities:Under direct supervision, supports the design and implementation of database architecture, logical and physical database design, entity relationship modeling, object models, database schema, database normalization, and de-normalization techniques. Ensures strict adherence in the use of ETL tools, writing stored procedures, packages, views, and triggers to support the development, maintenance, implementation, and support of data stores, data marts, and data warehouses. Supports all data warehousing projects including support for dimensional data modelingstar and snowflake schemas. Develops standard and ad-hoc reports using tools such as Hyperion/Brio or Crystal Reports
.Minimum Education:Requires a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other computer-related fieldMinimum Experience:Requires five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive work experience in software systems development This position also requires experience or background in each of the following: Working with relational database and ETL technologiesCreating standard and ad-hoc reportsObject-oriented software design and developmentUsing object-oriented programming language such as Java, JavaScript, C++ and SQLWriting stored procedures, packages, views and triggersDesigning and developing software applications using middleware, web services, messaging, data layer, security and backend database technologiesUsing Pentaho Data Integration ETL tool to deliver analytics-ready data to end users
