Description:
Seeking a Tableau Administrator resource to assist in the development efforts of various key initiative projects.
Design, architect and implement new Tableau enterprise services, manage the Tableau platform, and develop standards (templates, headers, footers etc and best practices for report and dashboard development in Tableau.
Design, implement, and maintain a secure and reliable Tableau Server platform (including development, test, and production environments
Serve as the primary liaison for Tableau Server related support to IT teams such as server administration, network administration, backup administration, identity management administration, and security administration.
Coordinate and/or administer Tableau Server patches and software upgrades, and user access in alignment with Client policy and regulatory requirements.
Develop and manage processes and procedures for promoting Tableau dashboards from development to test and production.
Contribute to the development of implementation strategies for Tableau Data Extracts (TDE
Contribute to the development of secure file access solution for Tableau dashboards. Contribute to the development of a Tableau self-service model.
Stay current on Tableau product roadmaps and introduce new features relevant to requirements.
Contribute to the development of Tableau development standards including look and feel, data access, and user interface.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience setting up from scratch and managing a Tableau Server platform.
Experience developing dashboards using Tableau Desktop.
Experience implementing and managing stringent application and data security principles and requirements.
