Our client, a global Medical technology corporation serving Healthcare industry & technologies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Client is looking for a Senior BI Developer that can interpret business requirements and translate them into valuable BI solutions. This person will work as a key member of an agile development team to ensure alignment between business requirements and solution design and delivery. This person demonstrates deep experience designing, developing and implementing complex BI solutions in various BI tools, with strong experience in QlikView.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help to analyze and document BI requirements in the form of user stories
New QlikView application data modeling and UI development, i.e. building and maintaining QVDs and QVWs
Production support and optimization of existing QlikView dashboards
MS SQL Server View Development
Application Unit Testing
As key member of Agile Team, actively participate in user story backlog grooming
As key member of Agile Team, actively participate in sprint planning and other ceremonies
As a key member of Agile Team, adapt to changing requirements to fit with business priorities
Analyze dashboard data to inform effective metrics and KPIs
Using best practices and experience to suggest and develop effective visualizations
Collaborate with Agile Team and business stakeholders to ensure quality and value of Agile Team deliverables
Mentor more junior BI developers

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
5 or more years of experience as a BI developer
2 years or more of experience with QlikView development

PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
4 or more years in a BI lead or architect role
3 or more years of health care/medical device industry experience
Experience working in an agile scrum development environment
Experience with Customer Service Operations reporting/analytics a plus
Experience with data/statistical analysis a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
QlikView dashboard development skills – intermediate to advanced understanding of scripting and front-end development
Strong communications skills, good self-starter, strong troubleshooting skills, ability to proactively manage project tasks.
Knowledge of data warehousing methodology and concepts.
Be good data story teller with understanding of how visualizations can aid understanding.
Strong SQL query development skills.
Ability to cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with internal business partners
Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous responsibilities
Highly collaborative and strong team interaction skills
Flexible and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Minimal travel domestically as needed
Must have proof of legal authorization to work in US.
