Position: Salesforce CRM Developer

Location: 1305 E. Walnut, Hoover Bldg., Des Moines, Iowa

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Requirements:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Salesforce CRM Developer will be providing support for State of Iowa agencies and departments as they seek solutions within the Salesforce product set.

· The Salesforce Developer will develop, configure, code, test, and debug complex new software, enhancements to existing proprietary software, and purchased software packages
· Perform technical analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations
· Follow Salesforce.com’s best practices and guidelines in implementing solutions
· Possess strong communication skills
· Able to work on multiple, concurrent projects
· Ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in technical planning
· Maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers, supervisors, and customers; present a positive team environment and customer focus
· Adhere to agency work rules
· Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions
· Research and keep current on Force.com technologies and communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective
REQUIREMENTS

· Develop and support applications using the Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Visualforce, Salesforce Chatter, and the Force.com platform
· Conceptualize, prepare, and create detailed technical specifications from which complex programs will be written or configured
· Comply with all required agency policies and practices relating to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
· Develop custom applications and perform testing using Salesforce.com APEX and Visualforce pages
· Write, test, analyze, and implement high quality code according to specifications
· Understand and leverage the Salesforce-provided APIs and components of Salesforce AppExchange for developing custom objects
· Create reports and dashboards using Salesforce to meet the reporting and analytical requirements of the business users
· Provide Tier II Support for Salesforce applications and manage service tickets needing escalation to the experts at Salesforce.com
· Supports Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, and automated approvals
