ROLE : Java/IBM BPM DEVELOPER-LEAD
My client is seeking an Application Systems Engineer to help build and support new applications using IBM''s BPM software. The applicant must be skilled in contemporary design principles, application development, and business process and workflow technologies. Basic job responsibilities and individual expectations include:
Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance, development, and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of Java and BPM, web application technologies, and existing design patterns.
Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications.
Provides Java, BPM, and Web service coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code.
Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production according to established guidelines utilizing Anthill Pro and PAC2000.
Develops or assists in creating new documentation, departmental technical procedures, and user guides as needed.
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years Java web application development
5+ years development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
5+ years Oracle database experience
2+ years of experience development with IBM Business Process Manager or equivalent BPM/workflow platform
2+ years of development experience with Web services and XML technologies including XSD, XPath, XQuery, XSL, XSLT
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field.
Strong core Java and OOAD skills
AJAX experience using Prototype or similar JavaScript library
JAX-WS or JAX-RPC development
Experience with BPMN based workflow modeling
JUnit and Continuous Integration
Websphere or Weblogic administration
Experience with source code management system (i.e. CVS-NT, Subversion)
This position is for a senior BPM developer/tech lead who will develop applications using IBM''s BPM software.
