Our client, one of the largest distributors of natural gas in the northeast US, serving customers in NY, MA, and RI seeks an accomplished Contracts Manager.
Description:
Lead the commercial management of contracts, both managed service and individual supplier agreements across the organization ensuring that value for money is delivered from the vendors within the IS ecosystem.
Role 1: To contract manage and help the supplier management of infrastructure and client services outsource suppliers i.e. data center services, cloud computing services ‘As a Services’ services and desktop services. Requires experience of infrastructure and desktop outsourcing contracts and knowledge of the IT outsourcing industry and suppliers.
Role 2: To support and provide guidance on contractual and commercial matters to a program management team leading and delivering multiple IS projects. Requires experience of application development outsourcing contract together with a broad knowledge of the IT outsourcing industry and suppliers.
Role 3 & 4: To contract manage and help the supplier management of networks and telecommunications services outsource suppliers.
Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree in a relevant discipline or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Breadth and depth of experience in IS sourcing and contract management.
Ideally a member of a relevant professional body eg. MCIPS.
IT outsourcing industry and suppliers.
Requires experience of IT networks and telecommunications outsourcing contracts and knowledge of the IT networks and telecoms outsourcing industry and suppliers.
5 years'' experience in Procurement and Contract Management.
6 years'' experience in Supplier Relationship Management.
