Our client, a world’s leading toy and baby products retailer, seeks an accomplished Senior Graphic Designer.


Description:
Translates marketing objectives into strong design solutions with a solid understanding of multi-channel media requirements.
Responds well to feedback and art direction, and is able to act on direction and use it as a means to build expertise and constantly improve their work.
Designer should have the skills to work on a wide variety of projects including logos, promotional programs, seasonal campaigns, in store signage, brochures, gift cards, corporate branding and other collateral.
Promotional catalogs, mailers, print & online newspaper inserts. Website and other digital advertising (banner ads, rich media, email
Executes work from concept through production with minimal supervision. Collaborates with cross functional teams in concept development and project execution.
Gives direction to illustrators and copywriters in producing effective communications.
Provides Photo Art Direction. Communicates desired effects such as lighting, set design, styling, model selection and scheduling.

Requirements:
5+ years of design experience in branding, retail environments and advertising. Relevant experience in retail advertising and/or children''s/youth market is preferred, but not required.
BFA in graphic, web & multimedia design preferred.
Strategic – finds solutions that integrate business and brand objectives.
Creative – initiates and promotes ideas that drive the business.
Balanced – knows how to deliver on both art and practicality.
Articulate – strong written and verbal skills; able to give and receive direction, and to communicate effectively with peers, cross-functional partners and management teams.
Strong knowledge of traditional and digital design trends, media, & production processes.
Able to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively; must be able to juggle competing deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment.
Proven strength in problem analysis, and decision making.
Highly accurate and attentive to detail; adheres to evolving creative guidelines.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of HTML, Image Ready, Flash, Dreamweaver is helpful.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Sketchup a plus.
