Position: Data Analyst Associate
Location: Carlsbad, CA 92008
Duration: 5 Months w / possibility of extension based on the project need
Description:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to turn data into information, information into business decisions.
Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full data processing to include data formatting, information validation, and continuously develop our big data database to identify business development opportunities.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Perform team performance analysis, complete dataset QA/monitoring.
Identify & prioritize application fix, enhancement and new development.
Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate opportunities.
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
Master Degree in Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics or equivalent.
Proven working experience as a data analyst.
Technical expertise regarding data processing and mining.
Strong skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at solving complex data sets and finding the right information from multiple data sources.
Proficient Microsoft Excel basic functions.
Self-motivated.
REQUIRED: Speak, Read, Write Japanese.
Optional: Speak, Read, Write Japanese: spanish, german, french, Chinese, Korean.
