Role: SAS Senior Enterprise DataFlux / Data Quality Developer-Analyst (Financial Services)
Position : Contract to Hire
Location : Remote
QUALIFICATIONS – ESSENTIAL
SAS DataFlux/Data Management Studio Business Rules Manager experience is a major plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years’ experience in developing and executing data profiling, job flow development and data quality assessment/monitoring using SAS DQ/DataFlux solutions and SAS Data Management Studio
SAS Programmer, with SAS knowledge and experience, including Base SAS programming, DATA step, SAS Macro language and SQL programming. Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL
programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient
10+ years’ experience developing and using SQL for data analysis
5+ years’ experience developing reports and dashboards using SAS Business Intelligence
products; Visual Analytics experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of Hadoop, BigData,– BigSQL, Apache HIVE is a plus
Understanding of data management /data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data quality
Demonstrated process workflows, system workflows, and requirements documentation related to Consumer, Commercial, Risk, Finance and/or Treasury
Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with key partners in business and technology
Demonstrated project management skills with ability to develop, facilitate and bring to successful conclusion
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to translate information so that users can effectively understand and make meaningful informed decisions
Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements
Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and knowledge of databases such as Access
Good written and spoken communications skills in English and thought-leadership skills
