Job Description :
Required:
· Business Objects Universes development using IDT and Universe Designer
· SAP Business Objects and SQL Server Data warehouse universe design and security
· BI/Database design, development, security, testing, implementation
· Proficient in OLAP and data warehouse concepts
· Intermediate to advanced SQL query, stored procedure, scripting, and data management background
· Configuring and Administering Business Objects 4.x environments
· Data modeling for a data warehouse, dimensional modeling and OLAP designing
Knowledge, Skill, Abilities:
· Verbal and written language skills
· Business Objects Universe Designer (IDT) 4.x Development
· Advanced SQL development skills with SQL Server 2012 or newer
· Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell
· Proficient in dimensional database design and Data Modeling tools such as Toad or ER Studio
· Business Objects Data Services 4.x, BOE Reporting and Data Visualization tools
· Software development best practices including source code control with Git
· Ability to work over 40 hours per week and/or outside of normally scheduled hours as required by project, and/or workload (e.g., evenings, weekends, and/or holidays)
Preferred:
Experience working with Amazon Web Services including EC2, RDS and DynamoDB
Exposure to Big Data Solutions using any of the following (Hadoop, NoSQL, R, Spark, Kafka)
Experience will SQL Server SSAS and other BI tools a plus
Knowledge of Data Mining and Predictive Analytics
