Skills,
3+ years experience developing UI applications using Java.
2+ years experience of writing code in javascript/JQuery.
1+ years experience using tools like Fiddler/Burp , browser developer tools
Have knowledge of security vulnerabilities like Cross-site scripting(XSS), Cross-site Request Forgery (CSRF) , SQL injection, Session Fixation etc and be aware of methods to prevent them. (hands-on experience on this is preferred but not a must)
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Performs product design tasks of a moderate to high complexity which may require research and analysis.
Perform system design and specification development, program logic and flow-charting, testing, debugging, and documentation, although specific skill requirements could vary based on the type of development being performed.
Works independently and with supervisory review on moderate to highly complex programming tasks. Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions. Prepares program specifications and develops coding logic flowcharts.
Participates in client interactions, possibly with more senior team members, to develop system solutions to business problems.
Works within established procedures to develop, test, implement, and maintain application software.
Able to along with and work well with others.
Regular attendance and timeliness are required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Technical Skills:
5+ years of JavaScript
3+ years Java programming experience developing J2EE based systems.
3+ years EJB, JDBC experience
3+ years experience with real time, high volume transaction systems preferred
Comprehensive working knowledge of Java 5 or higher.
Experience with JBoss, Websphere, HTML/ Javascript, Eclipse, JUnit required
Experience with servlets/ struts, Spring preferred
Must be well acquainted with MVC architecture and EJB.
Full knowledge of common software design patterns (Gang of Four)
Experience with XP and Linux operating systems is required
Demonstrated use and knowledge of various configuration management tools (ClearCase, CVS)
Demonstrated use and knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and design
Experience in the brokerage industry/financial background experience is a plus
