Job Description:-

In this role you will be:
Directly responsible for network engineering, capacity, and Disaster Recovery planning.
Work directly with software development ?and professional services teams to design, cost, build, and deploy systems ?to support new customers and new services.
Work with Media Operations, Service, and ?Support planning and delivering new services, systems, tools, and content.
Work directly with security team to ensure highest security standards implementation.
Participate in development of architectural strategy, including technology standardization of enterprise, data center and disaster recovery network infrastructures.
Align architectural strategy with business objectives.
Establish the technical principles that will guide the evolution of the network.
R&D advanced technologies to enhance & evolve core network infrastructure used across systems and services.
Stay current with developing technologies and predict impact of changing technologies
Continually find ways to improve cost performance.
Write reference architectures and strategic roadmaps for network and network security technologies, and solution architectures for various infrastructure initiatives.
Provide technical leadership to a team of talented engineers, working with our management team to drive completion of your vision.
Investigate and generate recommendations on key third-party components, such as network and security infrastructure technologies, necessary to implement solutions.
Lead best practice activities for Engineering Operations.
Provide proper hand off and training documentation for new deployments.
Provide technical expertise and help in troubleshooting issues to L2 support and NOC teams.
Personally manage major incidents on a ?rotating basis.

Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7+ years of experience in a senior level engineering or architecture role engaged in the planning and solution design of IP network infrastructures including technologies such as BGP/OSPF routing, L2/L3 switching, server load balancing, QoS, MPLS, network security and network monitoring in large scale multi-site data centre, service provider, or SaaS environments.
Understanding network and network security architecture best practices.
Demonstrated experience required with solution design of CDN, Storage, DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management infrastructure.
Demonstrated experience with network security technologies including network firewall, IPSec and SSL VPN, RADIUS/TACACS, network intrusion and detection, network access control and web content proxy/filtering is a plus.
Experience with design of next generation data center networks enabling cloud computing including technologies such as network virtualization, unified network fabric and Software Defined Networks is a plus.
Knowledge and hands on experience in building and configuring network for delivery video over multicast, (IPTV), OTT video delivery (Internet and mobile video streaming) is a plus.
Experience with IPv6 technologies.
Ability to think on a multi-site enterprise level; be forward looking and drive tactical and strategic technology roadmaps.
Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation, documentation and problem solving skills.
