Position: Windows Architect

Required Qualifications

Previous experience in production service delivery, including high availability or mission critical services surrounding VDI
Previous experience with desktop and application virtualization technologies (VMware / Citrix preferred, Hyper-V, XenServer)
Strong knowledge of enterprise network infrastructures and architectures (specialized certifications will be a plus), and enterprise storage infrastructure and architecture (i.e., SAN, NAS, iSCSI)
Management and support of application delivery controllers and load balancing technologies (Netscaler preferred)
Previous experience providing architectural design, implementation, capacity planning and monitoring
Previous experience managing overall technology life-cycle, including incorporation of best practices, key trends, and emerging technologies for virtualization, storage, networking and provide/hybrid/public cloud
Collaborated, socialized service offerings, facilitated technology transfer, and drove alignment for key internal and campus stakeholders, servicing needs of both academic and administrative domains
Built POC and Pilot environments to characterize, compare, and contrast virtual environments with different virtualization stacks and remoting protocols
Led or participated in complex problem management and root cause analysis
Led or participated in vendor relationship management
Scripting experience (i.e. Powershell)
