Role:Veeva Salesforce Admin – San Diego, CA
We need a Consultant Salesforce Veeva Admin/Developer for a long term assignment for a company in San Diego Ca.
The Salesforce.com Veeva Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying solutions, using Apex and Visualforce, and often leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and other technologies (i.e. data integration The Developer must be able to communicate well with IT colleagues and business stakeholders. Has an ability to understand user requirements and translate them into a technical reality that is extendable and maintainable. To succeed in this role, you must be able to work directly with the platform, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and implement customized applications. You must be reliable, motivated, a self–starter, detail oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills, and take ownership of work. You must thrive on working with complex problems and finding and creating architecturally sound solutions that address business needs. This position is based in the San Diego office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop
Understand and leverage the Salesforce APIs
Work with Cross Functional Teams for integrating data across several systems.
Review and understand business requirements and create functional prototypes to address them
Follow established Salesforce development standards and best practices
Collaborate/Assist in troubleshooting technical issues
Maintain existing applications with an eye on continuous automation and improvement
Stay current on Force.com technology changes and Salesforce releases
Work in an agile manner; be flexible to changing priorities
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Veeva/Force.com platform
Communicate with IT colleagues and business stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and business solutions
Experience developing and delivering solutions for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service business areas.
Experience with data integration
Understanding of data warehousing
