JOB DESCRIPTION:
Client is seeking a motivated, mid- to senior-level UX Designer / Information Architect to contribute to our growing team. You will be working in the ideal environment; a small, flexible team with a start-up feel but with the financial backing of a successful corporation. You will have the ability to help shape our team and contribute to or lead projects that affect thousands of individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather requirements from stakeholders/business owners.
Translate business requirements into elegant, innovative and intuitive web solutions while balancing user needs with business goals and technological constraints.
Organize and architect content for new and existing websites.
Create clean, organized, and readable documentation to convey site design/functionality to both business owners and developers (wireframes, functional specifications, prototypes, etc.
Design and implement site optimization experiments (A/B and multivariate testing)
Analyze various sources of user data, including voice of customer (site surveys), web analytics, or user testing/interviews to inform design decisions and drive site changes.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Solid understanding of user experience design, usability, information architecture, and web technologies.
Must be able to show an extensive portfolio of designs and documentation, such as wireframes, prototypes, functional specifications, use cases, site maps, content matrices, personas, usability studies, process flows, etc…
Proficiency in the necessary design/prototyping tools, such as Axure, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc…
Understanding of related areas as they pertain to your job (visual design, technical implementation/development, project management, etc…)
Ability to work well on a team where everyone may have differing opinions on design. You must be able to champion the user experience and guide thought processes of other team members in a respectful, positive manner.
Passionate about latest trends in interactive experiences across a variety of mediums with a strong desire for innovation.
Ability to work independently or as a team member on multiple, concurrent projects

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
Experience working in the health care space is a plus
Familiarity with A/B testing concepts and tools
Experience with Voice of Customer tools
UX research (usability testing, ethnography, etc… experience a plus
