Description:
The worker will play a key role in expanding coverage of our real-time multivariate monitoring program.
He or she will explore and curate manufacturing data to create statistical models that represent expected performance of unit operations, and then follow GMP procedures to make those models available for real-time monitoring by Amgen staff across the world.
Advance Client''s real-time multivariate process monitoring platform by building statistical models and leading their implementation through collaborations with manufacturing sites around the world.
Models will cover drug substance and drug product operations.
Training on modeling software and Client''s information systems will be provided.
Travel to manufacturing sites for model hand-off is possible.
To achieve a successful outcome, staff must do the following: (1) Collect input from process experts to ensure model is value-added, (2) Build a representative model, (3) Work with project team to document model and follow Amgen procedures to implement model at a site, (4) Collaborate with site staff to ensure model is used appropriately for real-time monitoring.

Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree in Science or Engineering, plus 3-5 years'' experience OR Master''s degree in Science or Engineering.
Must Haves: Science or engineering expertise. Data analysis. Statistical or mechanistic modeling.
Strong communication skills are a plus, as is knowledge of automation systems and process control.
Experience with R, Python, and/or Matlab is not necessary but preferred.
