Software Engineer
5 years with BS; 3 years with Masters Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications
software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary
research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design,
development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial
software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on
program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls;
prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and
operating systems. Ensures software standards are met. Develops error free solutions to meet customer
goals. Supports deployment of software and provides production support as needed.
Software Engineer Senior
9 years with BS; 7 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD. Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs
applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts
multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the
planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and
commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve
problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and
controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility
programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met. Develops error free solutions to

Software Engineer/Software Engineer Senior –
Must have development experience with the Java technology stack
Must have experience with one more of the following – Spring, Struts, Web Services
Must have experience working in an Agile environment
Must have experience with Linux OS, and shell scripting
Must have experience with SQL
Experience with Atlassian toolset including JIRA, Confluence is a plus
