Job Description :
Role: Oracle WebCenter Sites Developer / Lead
Location: San Francisco, CA
Contract Duration: 6 months (could be extended based on performance)
Experience level : 10+ years
Required skills :
· Atleast 10 years total experience with recent development and full cycle implementation experience with Oracle 11g WebCenter Sites.
· Nice to have exposure on Oracle WebCenter Sites 12
· Excellent expertise and experience on MVC framework, data access APIs, Content Server Developer Tools.
· Ability to efficiently support and make modifications to WebCenter Sites asset data model, Workflow and Publishing processes
· Demonstrable understanding of Asset Data Modeling, Multilingual Multi-site Management, Content management and Content Delivery
· Experience creating complex web pages, templates that are W3C compliant (XHTML, etc and work across multiple browsers and devices, templates integration with Google Analytics tags.
· Mobile layouts and design: Designing sites for multiple device types and optimizing site based on form factor
· Responsive design experience: Experience with Responsive design patterns and constructs for creating optimized user experience
· Development experience with WebCenter Sites tag libraries and API''s, Java JSP & Servlets, Web Services, XML, advanced HTML, JQuery, J2EE, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, Oracle, Apache, WebLogic.
· Thorough understanding of metadata and security model design and maintenance, integrations with external systems
· Good knowledge and experience of using SQL, PL/SQL and MVC framework
· Perform code reviews and manage project commitments.
· Work with content owners to gather requirements for system enhancements and prioritize future development efforts.
· Provide development estimates and identify risks associated with the effort.
· Provide prototypes / proof-of-concepts to the business (content) owners and users as a part of the requirements gathering process.
· Prepare design documents and conduct reviews with senior development staff.
