Description:
THIS IS A FIRST SHIFT POSITION. CAREFULLY READ THE JOB DESCRIPTION ATTACHMENT AS ANY OFFER WILL REQUIRE SIGNATURE OF THIS DOCUMENT THAT THE EMPLOYEE AND SUPPLIER WILL FOLLOW ALL RULES.

This job requires knowledge of digital, analog, and RF electronics with basic RF theory in the Gigahertz range. Personal characteristics must include flexibility, adaptability, a self-starter requiring minimal direct supervision, able to work both individually and as part of a team, and able to interact and work well with LM employees and internal customers.

Skill/Experience/ Education:

The resume MUST demonstrate work knowledge in the following 5 points

1) Testing and troubleshooting of digital, analog, and RF components, circuit card assemblies and higher level units and systems that are used in military products and platforms.

2) Diagnostics and troubleshooting down to the component level.

3) Use of Hewlett Packard / Agilent network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.

4) Use of power meters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes and multi-meters.

5) Performing fine work and visual examination under a microscope.

Other required work skills are:

1) Setup test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic assemblies and units following defined methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.

2) Layout and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.

3) Adjust and calibrate systems as required.

4) Determine types of tests to be performed.

5) Use various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.

6) Approve and suggest modifications to testing equipment, and analyze test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment.

7) Assist engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications.

8) Monitor and verify quality in accordance with established quality control procedures.

The subcontract employee must have an Associate of Science (AS) degree from an accredited college in electrical engineering technology or equivalent technical training along with 2 years minimum experience in electronics testing and hardware debug.

Desired:

1) Knowledge of how to make VSWR & cable loss measurements in high frequency range.

2) Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
