Summary:
We are searching for a Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer who will be developing, implementing and maintaining MS BI infrastructure/artifacts, dashboard and reporting.
Candidate will work with customers to plan/develop requirements, analyze business/technical processes in order to design application functionality, perform unit testing of data models, reports, dashboards developed and/or modified, remediate any defects identified through testing, migrate BI artifacts from development to test and production through successful customer and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Applicant will assist with the development of end-user training and/or user guides and train staff, develop, update and manage MS BI architecture design documentation (architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams etc and develop all necessary code and other artifacts required to implement the MS BI solution as per the documented design.
Required:
3 years of experience working with Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
3 years'' experience development/Working with Microsoft products using .NET Framework, Visual Studio, Windows Server, SQL Server and Microsoft Azure
2 years of development MS tool experience like PowerPivot, Power BI and SharePoint services as well as MS Analytics Platform System (Client)
Experience with one of the Big Data distributions (Cloudera, Hortonworks, HDInsight)
Strong background in databases, application architecture, data modelling, data warehousing, designing/building scalable infrastructure and platform for large amounts of data ingestion, aggregation, integration and advanced analytics in Hadoop, and database & query performance tuning.
Knowledge of some combination of SQL, MS T-SQL and Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server and, multi-dimensional/tabular model development including knowledge of MDX and DAX (SSAS – SQL Server Analysis Services
Pluses:
Knowledge of Oracle databases, data Mining, data analytics, dashboard development, Master Data Management/data archiving, SDLC, power Shell Scripting, working in a virtual environment
