Job Description :
Mandatory Technical Skills

1. Proficient in Java/ J2EE - Core Java, JDBC, J2EE Frameworks, Web application frameworks
2. 10+ years of industry experience with strong technical skills in Core Java and J2EE related technologies in multiplatform environment.
3. At least 2 years as Technical Architect of Java projects.
4. Excellent hands-on skills with Core Java, JDBC, J2EE Frameworks, Web application frameworks
5. Expertise with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design and implementation, together with application integration using the Enterprise Service Bus model.
6. Very strong understanding of web platform, layered architecture, design patterns and Caching technologies for high-volume web applications.
7. Good understanding and experience of Implementing J2EE/ Java Design Patterns
8. Good experience on Performance Tuning and profiling
9. Deep knowledge of Java/J2EE programming

Desirable Technical Skills

Experience with architecting and building high throughput, high performance, reliable, multi-
partition transactional services to scale
Exposure to Retail Domain
Knowledge of PL/SQL and Unix

- Identify the pain areas in Application, Processes, suggest solution and be part of the implementation

- Overseeing application architecture to verify, monitor and ensure performance and scalability, including the identification and alleviation of bottlenecks.
- Lead the technical work with customer to expand business
- Review the entire process and suggest the areas of improvements and convince the customer for it''s implementation
- Be part of the Designing new requirement, review and help implementing
- Define Code Review process and ensure all developers are following Coding standards as expected
- Define process of building documentation, discuss with customer and work towards implementing it
- Overseeing and reviewing the application design process to ensure that it meets both the technical constraints of the architecture and the business objectives in terms of reliability, scalability and serviceability

Desirable Functional Skills

Participate and actively involved in team and organization wide architecture discussions and software development best practices.
