Managed File Transfers w/Global scape
Requisition Comments
The candidate must have a strong background in Managed File Transfers(MFT)
with the use of the Global scape Managed File Transfer product in a Windows
based environment. The ability to develop, test and debug AWE scripts is
essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in a Global scape
High Availability environment along with the installation of the Global
scape software. The candidate must be able to work with application
developers, other infrastructure technologists, business units and outside
trading partners to troubleshoot issues with pre-production and production
systems and handle day-to-day requests for support. Additional duties may
include assisting with the administration and support.
Environment:
client uses Global scape as our MFT tool. We support hundreds of file
transfers with outside trading partners. The environment is large and
growing. You will work with a team of experienced and talented Global scape
administrators. There will be opportunities to mentor and be mentored.
This is a fast-paced and exciting environment to work in.
Required skills:
1. Strong Global scape Administration experience
2. Strong AWE scripting skills
3. Diagnostic tools - familiarity with tools used to troubleshoot issues
with Global scape in a Windows environment
Desired skills:
1. Monitoring - familiarity with tools to monitor Windows processes
2. Familiarity with Windows diagnostic tools
3. Familiarity with supporting Global scape HA
Soft Skills:
1. Good communication skills, both verbal and written
2. Good organizational skills
