zOS System Programmer w/ GDPS Experience
Our Client is looking for 8-10 people with GDPS implementation experience. just one implementation in sufficient. they just need to know GDPS. contract to hire.
there will be travel to client site with overall travel of about 50%. usually as project kicks off there will be 100% travel and then it tones down depending on client''s appetite for remote work. consultant can be based any where in the continental US.
Will mostly work in teams of two with client - on rare occasion a 3 person team.
this is a client facing role. not for someone who wants to sit in the dark.
Positions will focus on one of three main categories:
1 - Storage
2- Automation
3- Parallel systems
Required skills: (10yrs zOS System Programmer experience, 6yrs GDPS experience, 7yrs Data Migration experience, 8yrs Consulting), Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
