Title: webMethods Specialist
Location: Woodbury MN
Duration: 6+ months

Note: Desired Start Date: 1/7/2019

Worker will provide application infrastructure development and support expertise to the IT Gateway and Application Integration Services organization by performing application technical support for all Software AG products. Primary focus will be on securing/hardening the complete Software AG webMethods platform.
Installation, configuration & administration of the Software AG product suite using various tools including Command Central
Participation in team discussions, functional and technical design meetings, peer reviews
Work with application technical and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve issues affecting overall application system performance
Create and maintain relevant technical and production support documentation

5+ years’ experience in webMethods (Software versions 9+ and higher) components: Integration Server and related Adapters (JDBC, SAP, and MQ), MWS, Universal Messaging, Terracotta, Optimize for Process, Optimize for Infrastructure, Command Central
Strong verbal and written communication skill as position will work closely with IT SME''s/ partners during testing and production roll-out phase.
Strong administration experience with installation of MWS and related tools.
Must have integrated MWS with LDAP.
Strong working experience on Terracotta Server, and TMC.
Experience with Migration and Deployment of Universal Messaging
Experience in migration of webMethods artifacts (Maps, Flows, custom business logic
Experience in debugging and troubleshoot issues.
Experience with RHEL 6.x or higher.
Experience working in an Agile methodology
Experience in working with Java/J2EE technologies, shell scripting.
Understanding of CI/CD for Integration Server is a plus.
This is NOT a development role.

Position is a support role requiring more work direction whereby worker follows generally defined procedures and is responsible for implementing tasks assigned for a corporate pricing application.
Possesses the ability to install, load and develop Vendavo locally.
Possess the ability to implement tasks according to established development standards including local configuration, unit testing and debugging processes and escalate issues as they arise.
Posses the ability to handle simple assignments with supervision from a more senior configuration engineer. Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for assigned configuration tasks based on requirements and design documents. Responsible for unit testing and source control check in of assigned tasks.
Coordinates with the Lead CE to determine how best to implement features.
Supports existing instances in production, QA, stage and development environments.
Responds to off hour support requests if required.
