Job Description/ Responsibilities
Should have Proficiency in troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization of server and SQL server environments. Skilled at developing automated daily, weekly and monthly system maintenance tasks such as database backup, database integrity
Instrumental in High Availability tasks of SQL Server such as Backup, Restore, Replication, Log shipping, Mirror server, cluster and Security
Experience in high level of security management in SQL server database to protect the data
Expertise in Performance tuning the production database towards optimal performance based on the changes in the database storage structures due to application change requirements
Ongoing proactive and reactive approach database-level/Object level performance tuning. Data and recovery center Migration using migration script, SQL and 3rd party tools.
Monitor the production SQL alert logs for Server and database errors. Monitored system resource availability and responded to system memory and data issues.
Implement high level of security in SQL server database to protect the data.
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time and provide suggestions for solutions
PowerShell - basic knowledge, database automation activities using PowerShell
Have basic knowledge of Azure/AWS
