As a ServiceNow Architect, you will bring a deep understanding of ServiceNow modules/products, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM) with components like Configuration and Service Database Management (CSDM), CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Application Portfolio Management (APM), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM).
Responsibilities:
- Thought Leadership: Inspire change in the organization through technology solutions and provide thought leadership in ServiceNow implementations.
- Architecture and Design: Create architecture and design documentation, present technical solutions, guide and mentor technical staff, estimate solution costs and timelines, design system integrations and data migrations, and create technical roadmaps.
- Hands-On Experience: Have hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform and a strong understanding of system upgrades and related activities.
- Licensing and Integrations: Understand ServiceNow licenses, plug-ins, activate plug-ins, manage license dependencies, and have strong experience with various integrations and APIs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the DevOps team for story backlogs and delivery schedules, perform proof of concepts (POCs), establish strong partnerships with business/product owners, and help develop roadmaps.
- Governance and Improvement: Support in establishing a governance model, identify and implement areas of improvement for effective governance.
- Strategic Advisory: Advise executives on functional strategies, especially regarding ServiceNow solutions, and ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
- Independent Decision Making: Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues related to job duties and tasks with minimal supervision.
