Job Description:
Country Risk Technology is looking for a candidate that will work towards successful delivery of a number of high profile, complex, technical milestones that are core to the success of the Country Risk Technology program.
Responsibilities:
Work with business users, project manager, business analysts and other team members to understand and analyze business requirements
Propose and implement design solutions to the business problems
Participate in design and code review sessions and provide alternate solutions and recommendations
Implement enhancements to the system and maintain quality standards
Constantly improve SDLC process and actively participate in adopting industry standards for automation and continuous build and deployment
Partner with Business, Technology Leads, Operate and other stakeholders and own end-to-end functional deliveries
Ensure quality of deliveries, set development standards in areas of code quality, test coverage, monitoring, logging, exception management and documentation
Skills
7+ years of experience with Java/J2EE
3+ years of experience with RDBMS systems
2+ years of hands-on experience in a big data environment specific to application development for a large production environment
2+ years of experience with at least one of these technologies:
Map/Reduce
Spark
Hive
HBase
Impala
Kafka
Flume
Sentry
Experience with Agile development methodology, SDLC and continuous delivery
Strong understanding of Spring Framework
Strong fundamental understanding of data structures and algorithms
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are must
Experience with Micro services is a plus
Experience with UI technologies (HTML, CSS, ExtJS, JQuery, AngularJS) is a plus
Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau) is a plus
