Location: Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX preferred; however also open to Bothell, WA.

This position will primarily be remote, but candidate must be flexible with reporting into an office as requested by leadership.

Required Qualifications

•  Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.

•  5+ years of professional copywriting experience, with solid portfolio of work

•  Exceptional writing and research skills

•  Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines

•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders

Desired Qualifications

•  Experience within high tech and/or telecom industry

•  Master’s Degree

•  Experience with WordPress and/or other content management systems

Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View

•  Serve as a Subject Matter Expert within the wireless ecommerce business to build content roadmaps that align with consumer interests client priorities

•  Effectively collaborate across marketing, SEO, legal and product owners to build quality content and gain stakeholder and legal approvals to publish content on relevant client web properties

•  Revise copy based on internal feedback

•  Monitor offer roadmap for additional benefits and content opportunities

•  Identify new creative ways to grow customer engagement, improve customer experience and drive relevance in communications to new and existing customers

1) Requires a self-motivated writer who possesses an infectious work ethic.

2) Must be proactive and continually check in with the Associate Creative Director or Creative Director, the account team and project managers to see that every expectation is being met and exceeded.

3) Passion for and knowledge of popular culture are essential.
