Work location: Preference is local to Chicago, but obtained approval for 100% Remote within US
If local to Chicago, will work onsite 3 days per week (or as needed)
Work hours: (flex start time: 7:30 /8:30am - 5:00/5:30pm )
Overview:
Solution Architect/Business Analyst needed to augment Northern Trust Workday HRIS Team. Previous Workday implementation or support required. Conversion from PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 beneficial. The contractor should possess strong knowledge of Workday, with experience configuring and supporting Time and Absence and one or more of the additional functional areas – core HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Comp, Benefits, US Payroll, Global Payroll.
Contractor's Role:
Will serve in a HR technology role to drive design of global time and absence enhancements and defects. Will be responsible for functional and technical guidance and consulting throughout the lifecycle of each project, including design, security, testing and implementation. Will research and evaluate options, recommend alternative solutions, impacts and prioritize deliverables. Will work with HR business SMEs to translate complex global business requirements into system solutions and configuration, as well as system developers on integration and other technical design considerations.
Experience Level: 3
Qualifications (must haves):
• Workday HCM solution architect with previous experience implementing or supporting complex time and absence configurations
• Additional experience supporting multiple functional areas, including core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Comp, US Payroll and Global Payroll required.
• Adept at testing and troubleshooting integration issues
• Previous PeopleSoft experience extremely beneficial, preferably V9.2.
• Strong solution consulting and communication skills
• Project management, strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well with business subject matter experts and technical resources to deliver work on time according to project schedule.
• Knowledge of system capabilities, usually acquired through formal training or experience, is required to assess automation and configuration possibilities
• Organizational skills are required to develop and monitor project plans as well as organize time/juggle competing priorities effectively
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, handling multiple assignments simultaneously is essential
