APN Consulting has an immediate need for a direct client requirement:
Position: Sales Administrative Assistant
Location: Edison, NJ (Hybrid 3 days office and 2 days Remote/week)
Type: Full Time/Permanent
The Sales Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to an individual, team, department in sales or group. Collects, reviews, and analyzes data and prepares reports, charts, budgets, and other presentation materials utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, or specialized software. Prepares and distributes reports or other communications on a regular schedule. Maintains files, databases, and archives of relevant records. Screens calls and responds to or routes routine inquiries from external or internal sources with appropriate correspondence or other messaging. Schedules and coordinates meetings, travel, and other group activities. May manage invoicing, office supply inventory, or other routine processes. Responsible for company administration of customers website and portals. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. General Administrative Functions: Setting up conference calls, Handling correspondence, Track UPS Shipments, Filing, Mass Mailing, and Travel Arrangements for Sales Managers.
2. Prepare Presentations (includes mock-ups, samples, boards, binders, images and reports), and item spec sheets.
3. Responsible for updating quarterly Action Plans for the Sales team
4. Oversee all Sales Department Paylocity updates
5. Prepare various reports, POS, Purchase and Buyers Books weekly and monthly.
6. Responsible for customer pricing set up entering all pricing into D365 and on customer portals. Communicating pricing issues with Sales Managers and correcting pricing and UOM in D365
7. Assist with Market research for all markets, Commercial, Retail, Art & .Com. Reviewing competition, reviewing pricing
8. Website administrator for customers
9. Communicating customer order detail information to Reps and entering information into Customer's websites
10. Work with other departments as needed on a regular basis
11. Other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Requirements:
" Proficient in Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
" Familiarity with database reporting programs
" Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to maximize Performance, creativity, problem solving and results
" Familiarity with A e software packages of Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, Publisher, and Paint
" Knowledge of the internet through search engines for research
" Multi-tasking and coordinate project with changing priorities
" Strong understanding of the sales environment
" 2 3 Years Administrative experience
" Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)
" Must have working experience for a sales driven, customer focused business
" Budgeting
" Working knowledge of Windows based operating system
" Ability to communicate and motivate clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts via in-person meetings, telephone and written communication
" People management and ability to make effective business decisions in the best interest of the Company
" Strong Analytical skills
" Strong Presentation skills
" Ability to work independently and with a team
" Exposure to D365 or similar ERP Software a plus
" Office Products Industry a plus
" College degree preferred
