DHCF DCAS is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to lead the effort to implement and support Control-M with support of an existing team.

Complete Description:

This position is housed under the Department of Health Care Finance in direct support of the DC Access System (DCAS).
The Department of Health Care Finance is looking for an Control-M engineer with cloud and on-prem experience who will act as an lead for implementing, configuration and managing the Control-M functionality in support of the DCAS system. The incumbent will collaborate with other team members to develop automation, orchestration strategies and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement Control-M workflows and jobs based on business requirements and technical specifications.

2. Monitor and manage job scheduling activities to ensure the timely and efficient execution of scheduled jobs.

3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to job scheduling, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide effective technical solutions using Control-M.

5. Maintain and update job schedules, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.

6. Create and maintain documentation related to Control-M workflows, job schedules, and processes for reference and training purposes.

7. Implement automation solutions to optimize job scheduling processes and increase overall system efficiency.

8. Conduct regular performance analysis and make recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.

9. Stay updated with industry best practices, trends, and developments related to job scheduling and automation tools.

10. Automate an Informatica workflow or tasks within the workflow.

11. Develop Job scheduling procedure in Informatica through Control M, trigger third-party tool tasks/jobs.

12. Implement automation solutions like Escalation rules integrating with third-party alerting tools.

13. Extensive hands-on experience in Control-M installation, configuration and administration skills last 2 years with 8.0 and higher.

14. Experience with Window/Linux Server Operation System.


Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree or Higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven work experience as a Control-M Developer or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of job scheduling concepts, practices, and principles.

Proficiency in creating and managing Control-M workflows, job definitions, and job scheduling.

Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to job scheduling and automation.

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell scripting, Python, or Perl is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Familiarity with IT operations, system monitoring, and performance analysis.

Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
