Description:
Looking for an Automation Software Engineer for the Card Tech Partnerships team. The candidate should have a strong background in backend development with a focus on automation testing. This role will involve working on a re-platforming effort, transforming manual testing processes into automated ones.
Responsibilities:
- Work with development teams to understand architectural requirements.
- Develop automated testing solutions using Java, Cypress, and other relevant tools.
- Work towards achieving full automation of testing processes including unit tests, integration tests, and component testing.
- Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to ensure project success.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in software development with a focus on automation testing.
- Experience in Java programming language.
- Experience with test automation tools Cypress.
- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Lambda.
- Experience with Gherkin and Cucumber for behavior-driven development.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry.
- Preference will be given to candidates located in Richmond who can work onsite with the team at West Creek. However, consideration may be given to candidates willing to relocate.
