Job Description :

The District of Columbia has a need for a Quality Assurance Specialist or Inspector II/III in the Human Capital Administration Training Department for CDL Training.

The primary duties of the Quality Assurance Specialists or Inspector II includes:

1) Performing complex work concerned with assuring the overall quality of products, services, or processes;

2) Developing plans and programs for achieving and maintaining quality;

3) Monitoring operations to prevent defects;

4) Verifying adherence to quality plans and requirements;

5) Analyzing and investigating adverse quality trends or conditions; and

6) Initiating corrective actions.

Physical Demands

The work is not primarily sedentary; requires walking, standing, moving equipment, climbing in and out and off equipment, however, intermittent periods of carrying of lightweight objects are required. The selected candidate shall be allowed to work remotely but is expected to report for work in the DPW location during the first two weeks or so for orientation and training and if necessary.

Work Environment

The work is NOT performed in a routine office setting. The work environment will change based on the scheduling of classes for classroom setting and training on the equipment which is an outdoor setting.
