Job Description :
a talented QA Manager with at least 7-10 years of experience in testing.
Responsible for ensuring a product or service meets the established
standards of quality including reliability, usability
and performance.
They must fully understand the requirements for the product or service
and have a sense of responsibility towards our
clients.
The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our
products and services are capable to drive
sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
Understand client needs and requirements to develop effective
quality control processes
Management - Task assignation, Trouble shooting, Functional
understanding, Requirement gathering
Work with developers, client managers, localization team, site
managers, editors and designers on a day-to-day
basis.
Must be able to perform work effectively in an agile environment and
handle multiple test tasks
and demands simultaneously.
Manage deliverables and deadlines. Ensure ETAs are met on/before time
Participate in scrum and team meetings and should be able to work
independently in a time critical environment and
as part of a team on special and ongoing projects.
Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills as
well as strong analytical,
presentation and reporting skills.
Must be flexible to quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
Supervise other testers and provide guidance and feedback
Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations
from quality standards
Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new
efficient procedures
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as quality manager
Other tools – VSTS or similar bug tracking tool, SharePoint
Testing experience in web-based and database applications.
Knowledge of IT process improvement and various IT QA standards.
Good communication skills, attention to detail and a team player
Experience in working in a SCRUM team and facilitating the scrum process.
Thorough understanding of software quality activities throughout the
software development life cycle (SDLC
Accessibility testing and regression
A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Proficient in MS Office
