Job Description:
This role focuses on a critical IT consolidation project.
Daily Activities:

  • Establish project objectives and controls.
  • Develop project plan and identify resources.
  • Coordinate development activities and implementation plans.
  • Provide project status and deliverables.
  • Manage project risks and document completion.


Responsibilities:

  • Under supervision of the Project Management Section Chief, manage planning, implementation, and administration of infrastructure, applications, and IT services for a statewide HR and IT consolidation project.
  • Utilize people skills and leadership for negotiation, conflict management, and problem solving.
  • Lead project management, analysis, and design efforts, including migration strategy and stakeholder partnership.
  • Conduct asset inventories, create new processes, perform gap analysis, and manage change for migration.
  • Promote and adhere to the organization's Project Management Methodology, facilitating cross-team collaboration and change management.
  • Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project progress within schedule and budget, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
