Role: Project Manager

Location: Santa Maria, CA

PMP certification
 
Scope of Work
 
The senior project manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and completion of multiple projects for the police and fire departments. The projects will include, but not be limited to:
 
•     Implementation of a new CCTV System for Fire Facilities
•     Implementation of LexisNexis Coplogic Desk Officer Reporting System (DORS)
•     Deployment of Axon body cameras and in-car video system
•     Upgrades to existing equipment and technology
•     Process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
The senior project manager will be responsible for:
•     Developing project charters, plans and timelines
•     Leading project teams and coordinating with stakeholders
•     Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
•     Managing project budgets and resources
•     Identifying and mitigating project risks
•     Reporting project status and issues to project sponsors
Deliverables
 
The senior project manager will be responsible for delivering the following:
 
•     Project charters
•     Stakeholder registers
•     Project plans, including timelines and budgets
•     Regular project status reports
•     Risk registers, issue logs, assumption logs, etc. (as needed)
•     Lessons Learned
•     Project completion reports
 
Qualifications:
 
The senior project manager must have:
 
•     A minimum of 4 years of experience in project management
•     Experience in managing public safety projects for police and/or fire departments
•     Experience in managing projects involving the implementation of new technologies and equipment upgrades
•     Experience with database and application interface projects
•     Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
•        A bachelor's degree
•        PMP certification
