Full Job Description:
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee and deliver projects within agreed schedules, budgets, and scopes. Responsibilities include coordinating stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring project success. This position focuses on IT project management for our client, with a significant emphasis on the CC&B (Customer Care & Billing) project, a crucial revenue-generating initiative for the city.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans and manage project artifacts.
Identify and manage project dependencies, budgets, and critical paths.
Deliver progress reports, proposals, and documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
Estimate resources needed and define project scope.
Translate business needs into detailed requirements.
Delegate tasks and resolve conflicts within the project team.
Focus on Public Utility functions including Water, Waste Pollution Control, Garbage & Recycling, and Sewer.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
5 years of project management experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
ITIL certification or ability to obtain within 2 years.
PMP certification or ability to obtain within 2 years.
