5-10 years of work experience as an IT project manager
Experience in the management of complex projects
Collaborative approach to team leadership and problem solving
Pro-active in Risk and Issue management
IT analytical skills and project team organizational skills
Teamwork and good communication, personal commitment and self-motivation
Self-confidence with presentation and reporting skills
University degree – computer science or similar
PMI certification preferred
Job Description / Responsibilities:
Take over SharePoint migration project approximately 50% complete
Strong background & experience in big data integration Projects.
Ability to effectively & efficiently collaborate with multiple stakeholders, vendors & suppliers.
Liaison representing EPMO Director to work with, coordinate and lead project team(s) to ensure each portion of the project scope is executed as required.
Work under the direction and report directly to the EPMO Director such that no decisions/action should be taken without affirmation from the EPMO Director with a dotted line to the respective Project Sponsor(s) assigned.
Seek & confirm project goals, milestones with EPMO Director and then lead the planning, inclusive of identification of barriers or obstacles, questions & facilitation of the escalation processes.
Participate in the documentation & reporting processes of all Project requirements & design processes.
Proactively collaborate with Customer business partners, vendors, and Business Technology (BT) team members as appropriate & necessary.
Review and ensure timely approval of final documents to ensure that all BT standards are accurately reflected, incorporated & communicated.
Conduct or participate in project and governance meetings.
Oversee and coordinate the project schedule and work of selected vendors for BT activities.
Project Management activities that include, but is not limited to,
IT Project Process document in real time (as items are in progress and/or completed
Produce daily Project Status report detailing progress. Report should also identify any current project risks and issues and a mitigation plan for each.
Risk and issue identification and management
Respond to urgent requests within the same business day when those requests relate to delivery risks.
Recommend additional resources and/or equipment to ensure service delivery expectations are met.
