Title: Non-IT Project Manager 

Location: Schaumburg IL

Duration: 10 Months

 

Job Description:

  • Plans and executes on Business workstream deliverables within a project.
  • This project will give the candidate the opportunity to learn international business, reinsurance and exposure to collaborate across multiple functions of the company.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the Business team to successfully implement a large-scale reinsurance focused project.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams including internal & external reinsurance partners, legal, tax and business teams to ensure contractual deliverables are met.
  • Develop, monitor, and execute on business workstream deliverables.
  • Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data, developing and documenting processes and procedures, and supporting the implementation of systems and solutions.

 

Skillsets and requirements

  • Project management/organization skills
  • Confidence to analyze current processes and propose/develop/implement solutions geared towards efficiency
  • Organizational and self-management skills, with the capability to take charge and work independently
  • Ability to synthesize issues & concerns, follow up and drive to completion
  • Ability to muti-task and drive/manage deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high standards of quality
  • MS suite proficient, VLookup & Pivot skillset preferred
  • Prior Reinsurance knowledge (preferred but not essential)
