Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements.
Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Requires a bachelor''s degree in area of specialty and 6+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
A degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
5+ years experience in software development
4+ years experience with Java
3 years experience with Spring framework, Spring boot
At least 2 years’ REST/web services experience
At least 3 years’ experience in RDBMS
At least 3 years’ experience in Agile practices
2+ years of experience with the Amazon Web Services especially EC2, ECS (docker containers), CICD pipelines (Jenkins), GIT, CloudFormation, Route53
Familiarity with Linux and/or windows instances provisioning over AWS
Familiarity with Chef scripting
