Role: Sr. TIBCO Administrator

Location: New York , NY

Duration: Long Term

Position Summary

This position is part of the Data Warehouse Group. This position will provide Administrative Support for the TIBCO
Middleware and Messaging Services. This role will be involved in managing the TIBCO Middleware and Messaging
Services and day to day support of implementing Middleware and including working with both internal and external
teams. Furthermore, this role will be involved in the design and planning expansion and growth of the Middleware
platform.

Additional areas include leading technical discussions, code reviews, solution documentation, team mentoring, and
defining overall best practice as related to SOA.

Essential Job Functions:

Create technical solutions and design

Follow established processes and improve process/procedures to meet new application needs in various areas
maintain standards, monitoring, patch management and developing automation tools.

Drive TIBCO Platform along with High available implementation (cluster and load balancing), providing high level
approach including the design and capacity planning.

Identify opportunities to optimize current solutions and perform technical analysis and/or provide hands on
technical support, on an as needed basis, to troubleshoot problems related to poorly performing systems in
production and other test environments.

Job Requirements:

8+ years of overall IT experience

6+ years with TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Hawk, TIBCO Administrator

Must have experience in designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, configuring and troubleshooting of TIBCO
applications

Proficient in Unix/Python scripting

Knowledge of .net is preferred

Expertise in Infrastructure technologies with hands-on experience in high availability cluster solutions

Expertise in evaluating new technologies and technical products in the context of business needs, established
reference architecture, software packages, installation/configuration, environment provisioning with high available
and load balancing features

Must have experience with RDMS (especially Oracle), SQL, PL/SQL.

Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills; ability to provide hands-on technical support and
analysis on as needed basis.

Delivery focused, hands-on, data driven, detail oriented approach with clear accountability for performance and
execution is required.

Should be willing to provide support for production systems and participate in on-call rotation as we are a 24X7
team.

Works with on/off shore teams to insure best practice standards and process.

Qualifications:

B.S. in Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline preferred
