Job Description :

Our client in Salem, OR is seeking a skilled GIS Developer to recreate their Sage-Grouse Habitat Quantification Tool from ArcGIS 10.5 to ArcGIS Pro. This is a contract position for at least 2 months.
Primary Tasks:

  • Recreate Sage-Grouse Habitat Quantification Tool in ArcGIS Pro, ensuring proper interaction with data sources.
  • Conduct beta testing, deployment, and bug fixing.
  • Update system manual, user guides, and database metadata.


Secondary Tasks:

  • Incorporate enhancements based on requirements.
  • Develop GIS web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct testing and documentation.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in GIS development.
  • Expertise in ESRI GIS software (Desktop, Pro, Enterprise).
  • Proficient in JavaScript, ArcGIS API, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and JSON.
  • Familiarity with mobile applications and GPS.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
